Recently, I was outside with my oldest son shooting baskets and he asked me, “Dad, tell me what to do next.” I realized that I really did not know what to tell him to do! I always thought I would be the cool dad, the one that could keep up with his kids, entertain them, play with them and educate them. I realized in that moment that I no longer knew how to play! I had become the borrowing dad!
Being a Day Warrior also means being a good dad, a good mom, and a good parent! Because of that, I have launched a parallel-themed content called The Kid Warrior. I have started to create a series of posts to build better relationships between parents and kids.
Part of this is to help myself build a better relationship between myself and my boys but also just to be more pragmatic about planning activities to enrich my kids childhood, educate them in their families value and work to create strong, independent, and critical thinkers.
Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.

As I take this journey to become a better parent, I thought I could share the progress with you. Maybe you will learn a few things and maybe you will share some thing that will make me a better parent!
Please meet The Kid Warrior Team!
Please keep checking back for new content.
